Web Server
To configure Web server, click on the Setup button, and then
select the Server tab.

- HTML filename
The filename for Webcam Watchdog default HTML page.
- Enable logging
Webcam Watchdog creates log file for you to track who accesses your website. You can
enable this feature by checking the Enable logging box.
A log file will be created in " C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Watchdog" . You may find the file by using Windows Explorer and open
Computer-Name_Date.log file with Notepad to view the log.
The log file records the time, date and IP address in which Watchdog are accessed from.
- Port
The default port used by Webcam Watchdog is 80.
You may choose another port if the default is being used by other program (e.g. Microsoft IIS server).
Some Internet Service Providers (ISP's) block incoming traffic on port 80.
Try mapping another port above 8000 and see if this helps.
- Web page folder
You may change the folder of your HTML document folder.
- Authorization
Firewall and Internet gateway device
- Auto config Windows XP SP2 firewall
Check this box if you wish Watchdog to config XP SP2 firewall for you.
- Enable Windows Media streaming
Check this box if you wish to enable broadcasting audio and video by Windows Media.
- Port
The port used for Windows Media Streaming. If the port has been used by another
application, you need to change the port number.
Recommended video settings for remote viewing by ActiveX
JPEG filename: Webcam Watchdog captures image and saves it in JPEG format.
You may change the filename of the image.
Frame rate
The frame rate and picture size/quality often depends on your connection speed.
You may want to use the following table as a reference for setting up the parameters.

Webcast quality
Move the slider toward Faster video if you wish to increase the frame rate.
If you wish to have better quality move the slider toward to Better quality.
