Web Server

1. Authorization required: If you wish to limit the access to your webcam page, please select this option, and then enter your desired User ID and password. When connecting to your webcam page, you will be prompted to enter User ID and password.

Note: authentication is not available if accessed directly by Windows Media Player and Media Server.

2. Enable logging: Webcam 1-2-3 creates log file for you to track who accesses your website. You can enable this feature by checking the Enable logging box.

A log file will be created in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Webcam123" . You may find the file by using Windows Explorer and open Computer-Name_Date.log file with Notepad to view the log. The log file records the time, date and IP address in which Webcam 1-2-3 are accessed from.

3. JPEG filename: Webcam 1-2-3 captures image and saves it in JPEG format. You may change the filename of the image.

4. Web server:
  • Webcam 1-2-3 HTML filename
    The filename for Webcam 1-2-3 generated HTML page.


  • Port
    The default port used by Webcam 1-2-3 is 80. You may choose other port if the default is being used by other software (e.g. IIS).


  • Path
    You may change the path of your HTML document folder.


4. Windows Media™ streaming:

  • Enable Windows Media™ streaming
    Check this box if you wish to enable broadcasting audio and video by Windows Media™.

  • Port
    The port used for Windows Media Streaming. If the port has been used by other application, you can change the port number.

  • Max concurrent connections
    You can limit the number of viewers by entering a number here.
