If you do not have a static IP address, you can enable dynamic IP feature to access NetCamCenter via Internet easily. For example, if your username is 12345, your URL will be "http://www.webcamsoft.com/icast.asp?user=12345". Note Dynamic IP service only helps you find your NetCamCenter's current IP address. If you have a router or firewall, you still need to manually configure the device to allow incoming access.
After registering NetCamCenter, you will receive a User ID and password. To enable Dynamic IP service,
- Click Setup and then click Dynamic IP.
- Check Enable Dynamic IP service. Enter your password correctly. (Note: the password is case sensitive.)
- Click OK.
