Before you start NetCamCenter for remote surveillance, you may need to configure firewall or router.

go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt or MS-DOS
Enter ipconfig and you'll see your current IP address. To access NetCamCenter, start IE and type in http://your IP address in the location bar.
If Redirect service is enabled, you can go to http://www.webcamsoft.com/enap/member2.asp to check your URL.
If you are behind a router, logon to the router to find out your external IP address.
- Start IE.
- Enter the router's IP address. (Please refer to the user manual of your router. Below is a sample screen shot of Router's setting.)
(IP address such as 192.168.x.x, 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.x, 4.0.1.0 is not accessible from Internet. If your IP address is 192.168.x.x or 10.0.0.x, please configure your firewall or router. Please refer to the router's user manuals to check if they support Port Forwarding or Virtual server. Otherwise, you may not be able to access NetCamCenter from Internet. )
