Troubleshooting Please check the following system settings on your PC.
Turn Off Hard Disks (select Never) System Standby (select Never) On Hibernate tab, uncheck Enable hibernation.
Please make sure that you have enough bandwidth. You may need to lower the frame rate or the image size of your camera if you do not have enough bandwidth for all of the cameras. It consumes more network bandwidth, CPU, RAM and bandwidth of the PCI bus for larger image and higher frame rate. If you do not have enough bandwidth, it may cause network connection to be instable. For example, if the resolution of the camera is 640x480, the bandwidth needed for sending the image is around 344 ~ 472 K bps (one frame per second). If you set the resolution to 640x480 or higher for multiple cameras, please reduce the frame rate or resolution on some cameras. Please also run scandisk regularly to check if system file is corrupted. Please check if Windows Service Pack 2 has been installed.
Antivirus software In some case, antivirus software may cause NetCamCenter fail to work properly. It is not recommended that you turn on antivirus software while running NetCamCenter. If the computer has Norton Internet Security installed, you may want to turn off Internet Security when running NetCamCenter. |
