How do I setup dial-up connection to my webcam server? If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, please follow the steps to setup dial-up connection. Go to Start -> Settings -> Network Connections -> New Connection Wizard Click Next in the following window. Click Set up an advanced connection. Click Next. Click Accept incoming connections. Click Next. Check your modem device. Click Next. Click Allow virtual private connections. Click Next. Check the users's names who are allowed to dial in to the server. Click Properties and enter desired password. You can also set up a password later. Click Next. Click Finish. Right-click on My Network Places. Select Properties. Double click on Incoming Connections. If you wish to change or set up a password, go to Users tab. Check user's name and click Properties to change password. Click Networking tab to setup IP address. Select Internet Protocol. Click Properties. Enter 192.168.0.150 in the From field. Click OK. Add dial up connection to webcam server on other PC Go to Start -> Settings -> Network Connections -> New Connection Wizard Click Next in the following window. Click Connect to the network at my workplace. Click Dial-up Connection. Click Next. Enter Webcam in the Company field. Click Next. Enter your phone number. Click Next. Check Add shortcut to this connection to my desktop. Click Finish. To test the connection, double click on Webcam on the desktop. Enter your username and password. Click Dial. Start IE and enter http://192.168.0.150 in the Location bar.
