What does "lux" mean? Lux is a measure of light intensity. A camera lux rating refers to the minimum amount of light that will produce pictures. The lower the number the more sensitive the camera. Below are the images captured by cameras with different minimum illumination in low light environment. Camera 1 minimum illumination: 0.05 Lux Camera 2 minimum illumination: 1 Lux Camera 3 minimum illumination: 0.05 Lux Camera 4 minimum illumination > 1 Lux Camera 5 minimum illumination: 0.05 Lux
